About KateKate Careb is a Stonington native who has been exploring the color and beauty of our magnificent local coastline for nearly half a century. Walking the beaches of Sandy Point and Watch Hill since childhood, she developed a passion for taking a closer look at the objects that make her little coastal town so special. The fishing and lobster industry have been a mainstay of the Stonington community for hundreds of years and visitors continue to travel from afar to enjoy the fruits of their bounty.
